EWHA presents 2 unique garden experiences in 1 day

Please join us for a talk at Alowyn Gardens, followed by lunch at the Yarra Glen Cafe, then a tour of the Edible Forest.

Alowyn Gardens | 10am–12noon
Alowyn Gardens began in 1997 as a neglected trotting farm with only a few trees, and is now an award-winning landscaped garden with 9 different distinct styles and spans 7 acres.

Yarra Glen Cafe | 12:15–1:45 pm
Lunch at own cost

Edible Forest | 2–3pm
Louise Ward, owner of Yarra Valley Estate will take you on a guided tour through her forest creation. You will learn the health benefits and reasons why individual plants were selected as you meander through the different areas, including tea, wetlands, bush tucker, edible flowers, a temperate rainforest and berry woodlands containing edible and medicinal plants.
