On a warm Melbourne Summers day, an enthusiastic group of 16 ladies gathered to share a meal and discuss all things plant related. Many new members came along so it was a great opportunity to meet new faces. Existing members also attended as well as non-members who were interested in connecting with other women working in the Horticulture sector.
The rain when it came did not dampen the conversation and we had some interesting questions regarding the PH levels of soil as well as the most effective treatment for that common Summer pest: spider mite and red mites.
