A cultural tour of Willum Warrain in Hastings on the land of the traditional owners – the Bunurong / Boon Wurrung, followed by a tour of a private garden in Balnarring.

A Day of Botanical Inspiration: Alowyn Gardens & The Edible Forest

Our March event was held at the exceptional Warners Nursery. Thank you to Andrew, Heidi, Kathy and Stacey for taking time out of their day at such a busy time of the year to give us a tour.

Our 2024 Celebration Dinner brought together women from diverse roles in the horticulture industry. The event featured guest speaker Chloe Thomson, who shared her inspiring journey in horticulture, including overcoming challenges and building a successful career.

Our visit to Booran Reserve in Glen Huntly was the opportunity to learn some amazing facts about the conversion of this site from old reservoir to award-winning public park.

Our event at Established Tree Transplanters gave our attendees a peak behind the scenes at this unique nursery where 80% of the trees are grown in the ground at either their Hoddles Creek site or in Echuca.

EWHA held the 2024 AGM this August, treating attendees to guest speaker Jane Tonkin. Jane gave a honest and inspiring talk, sharing her journey.
