The NGIV International Women’s Day brunch with guest panellists Jane Edmanson OAM, Connie Cao, and Jenn Reed was held on 5 March 2026.
This year NGIV once again led a fantastic morning of connection and inspiration, this time hosted by the team at RBG Cranbourne. The event has become the go-to networking occasion where Victorian women can celebrate our contributions and share the wealth of knowledge from renowned women in the industry as they recount the various challenges and solutions they have learned over their many years of experience. (Pictured above from left are NGIV Director Suzie Shearer, Jenn Reed, Connie Cao and Jane Edmanson).
Jane described her beginnings as a teacher, entering the nursery industry and then as presenter on Gardening Australia. Connie Cao developed a fascination for plants, then took up permaculture, embracing the world of fruit and vegetables, which has led to a book and successful online presence. Landscape Designer with Urban Discovery and Early Childhood Educator, Jenn Reed explained how interaction with nature has such positive impacts on children’s behaviour.
At left, representatives from our Gold Sponsor, Plantmark enjoyed this special opportunity to rub shoulders with other women in the industry.
We can’t wait for NGIV’s next women’s event!
