2026 Small Business Grant winner

Gardening duo Charlotte Tulk and Sarah Bacaller have won our 2026 Small Business Grant. Charlotte and Sarah run a small garden maintenance business Ladybug Home Gardening.

The committee was impressed by their socially responsible motivations, which give priority to employing under-privileged women and serving a client base that includes disabled customers.

“We’re delighted to have been chosen to receive this wonderful grant from the Encouraging Women in Horticulture group. This funding will help us to support more women in the industry – in particular, by allowing us to purchase additional tools and uniforms for our growing team of employees. In turn, we and our employees will continue to support women (and others!) who love their gardens but need a helping hand”.
